

STUDIO
The First Street Live Records offices house a project studio intended for the production of serious demos, which doubles as a jam room for experimenting with new musical ideas. When an artist is ready to lay down final tracks for an album, we outsource to a full service studio.
DIGITAL RECORDING
First Street Live is equipped with the Mackie HDR 24 track digital recorder and the Digi-002 Pro Tools system.
DUPLICATION SOURCE
Utilizing the Rimage Endeavor duplicating system with its piggybacked Everest II printer, FSL can affordably produce up to 500 CDs per day with no advance graphic set-up needed.
ENGINEERS
FSL has access to a pool of free-lance professional engineers…each offering a unique skill or talent in regard to a variety of project types. This enables FSL to match the most qualified engineer to the artist's project, resulting in a harmonious working environment.
Jason Decker, the full time technical engineer and studio manager, oversees this selection process.
GRAPHIC/WEB DESIGN
First Street Live employs a full time professional graphics department, headed up by Joe Hunt, with over twenty years experience in graphic design and production. Having won numerous awards for creative representation, Joe is perfectly suited for cover design projects. He is capable of listening to the artist and melding their concepts into a workable product and finally into a piece that elicits positive consumer response as well as creative kudos.
Each artist associated with FSL is given an exclusive page on our high hit website. While Joe will work with the artist on the creative aspect of the page, Jann Decker is responsible for its functionality, with over seven years of experience in Web Application Development and Web Project management, her skills enable her to correct any snafus before they occur, ensuring artists of receiving all the inquiries the page draws.
MARKETING
Depending upon the artist's needs, FSL is capable of taking the album from duplication through distribution via the Internet, actual storefronts, performing venues, and release parties. FSL's Marketing and Public Relations representative, Marjorie Phinizy has multi-market experience in media relations, promotions, advertising, and is a twenty-year veteran of the radio industry. This experience allows FSL the ability to offer the artist a complete coverage of their target market. Whether the occasion calls for a simple blurb in the local entertainment paper or a full-scale publicity blitz, our resources enable us to provide whatever is necessary to assure success.
LEGAL/ACCOUNTING
As with any music project, copyright and mechanical license laws are foremost in the list of priorities. We are aligned with the Harry Fox Agency and abide by all regulations set forth by BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, NMPA, and other associated organizations dedicated to preserving and protecting the creative and thus monetary rights of musicians and songwriters.
CFO, Marian Phelan is responsible for the dispersal of revenue and providing the proper paperwork to comply with all state and federal tax requirements. This allows the artists to concern themselves with audio rather than audits.
FSL has a selection of artist arrangements to choose from, whether the choice is simple production or full representation, each contract is created by a licensed Entertainment Attorney…with no fine print!
