First Street Live Records Signs Alternative Band
RTB (Room To Breathe)

In a move designed to broaden their genre base, First Street Live Records has signed a long term production and promotion contract with North Carolina based Alternative band Room To Breathe. This six-member group features lead singer Ryan Norton who consistently draws critical acclaim for his original songs and innovative arrangements. The group narrowly missed sealing a deal with a major record label but artistic differences interfered, that is one of the main reasons that Norton and the group chose First Street Live Records. The company maintains its credo of…Putting Power Back In The Hands Of The Performer™. According to President Mark Smith, "Artists can go anywhere and have someone else tell them how to do it….here we ask…how do You want it done?"

Room to Breathe has a tentative tour set to begin the first week in November, then it's into the studio in December, with a debut CD release date planned in February 2004.
